Build a team of 2-5 people. This can be students from multiple houses. Come up with an idea that will encourage sustainable practices and behaviors. Pilot Proposals Due December 4th (midnight). Five Finalists will win $500 to pilot and test their program.
Finalists will have from January 25-April 13 2018 to further develop their idea. Event organizers will check in to assess progress and the staff of the Design Thinking Initiative will be available during the pilot period to assist with brainstorming and prototyping. Final plan due April 13th (midnight). Presentations and winners announced the week of April 16th. $1000 Grand Prize to the winning house, and the opportunity to work with the Office of Campus Sustainability the following year to implement the solution campus-wide.

November 6th: Innovative Strategies Workshop
Workshop hosted by the Conway Center with Jenn Maer ’93, Design Director at IDEO. 5—6:30 p.m., CC103/104. Jenn will present a case study of IDEO’s engagement with The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy.
